We are humbled by the annual sponsorship of these organizations in creating Seattle’s largest MLK Jr. Celebration!

If you are interested in sponsoring this years event click the link here for the donation form!

In 1983, the MLK Organizing Committee came together to honor the “March on Washington'' and how important Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has been to our movement and liberation, and continuing to advance struggles for justice, including workers rights, racial equity, gender equity, LGBTQ+ rights, economic justice, climate justice, and anti-imperialism. We will not and cannot accept money from people or organizations in contradiction of these values and principles however, we will accept funds from those who are advancing the objectives of our people and the legacy and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights and Human Rights Movements.

A special shout-out to the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle, through their continued support we have been able to efficiently put to use the community donations that coalition has received. The ULMS has been a staple in the Seattle community for generations by working to empower under-served communities to thrive by securing educational and economic opportunities.
